Spring is a beginning, a renewal,
Mother Nature’s crown jewel.
Robins, wren, and Meadowlarks,
Again grace our yards and parks.
Easter Lilly’s and carnation,
Become our winter’s salvation.
We often stop to smell the rose,
A lover’s heart’s filled with prose.
We’re taking daily steps lighter,
Our days seem much brighter.
Gone are the winter stews,
Replaced with family BBQ's
