I walked the path,
Cobblestone streets
Carriages pass,
Coachmen wave to me
Tipping my hat, I
Continue on
Stalking my victims
Hearing my song

From the shadows,
Her voice doth beckon
From the doorway
Her skirts swish and hide
Into the alley, that channel
I ride
Death my steed

A tupence, she speaks
In my ear,
Quickly nodding, agreement
Gained
Retreating from bobby, lorry
Invade

Out of the streets,
Do we go,
Gaslights sputter, spit
Burning low
Into the alley,
Your cries pull me

Dip of the shoulder,
Flash of your knee
Removing my blade
Sliding free
Dipping in, it flashes
Quick
Gurgling sputter,
You died quick

I am the Ripper
Can't you see?
Why do these images
Torment me?

Sated, satisfied,
My moneyworth gained
Leaving the alley, of the slain
Chalk line marks
and treaded feet
Night moisture,
Fog so deep

Left you there,
In an alley pure
Tainted by evil
I am the Ripper
I am your cure...
