Springtime

And you emerge from the shadows
Of layers and coats
as the sun shines once again
Parts of you that escaped daylight
Are now in sight
as I watch transfixed as you languidly shift
And cross your bare legs

A slipper falls to reveal your ankle
A gentle breeze flutters through your dress
I have never seen you like this
And now there are parts of you I long to see

Come into my parlor
But I am no spider
I will lay you down and inhale
And you will close your eyes and feel

From a warm spring day
Will emerge the rush of summer heat

So sorry for you

Look at what you're missing. Down here we're already able to flaunt what we got ---- bug-eyed guys ---- so much fun!!!

loved it

that was lovely ... and only those of us who live in the winter zones can appreciate that transformation -

~~

Coaxing write to come out from winter's hibernation...as though anyone would need coaxing.
