She has come!
The prophets sung,
Send word throughout the land.
Pleasures sing in the hall of kings,
Of our saviour from heaven's door.

She rides all armed in the light of day,
A mighty sword of black.
Ten thousand brave and honest men,
Fall in behind Her back.

Hair as white as virgin snow,
Swirled o'er her silken skin.
Her mount was wrought of hardened steel,
Grey like winter's bitter winds.

And worship Her they cry to us,
Upon your knees and pray.
It's a hundred years we now have spent,
Waiting for this blessed day.

People of all creeds did come,
So all the common folk.
To catch one glimpse of this child of God,
Of whom the wise men spoke.

Young men seeking glory issued forth,
From every town and shire.
Quick to pledge both heart and soul,
To whatever She should desire.

And exalt Her they cry to us,
In your heart's most sacred place.
For She is come for the devil's son
And shall drive him from this place.

Across the beckoning plains we flew,
Swift as the northern gale.
And before this vision all clad in light,
The mountains themselves did pale.

Atop a jagged hill She reigned to a halt
Her horse with smoky breath.
An evil wind from this valley blew,
Cold as the ice of death.

And honour Her they cry to us,
She who shall save your homes.
The good of light shall vanquish night,
Our king once more enthroned.

O'er the twisted ground our army rode,
Like to Gods own kin.
And when we reached the darkening mist,
Onward She drove us in.

She brought us to the gates of hell,
In the heart of that devil's land.
And the very earth seemed to open up,
Like the palm of a frigid hand.

And hallow Her they cry to us,
Forever laud Her name.
For She shall not rest Her noble head,
Till we assert our claim.

With eyes that burned with the fires of hell,
She finally turned her steed.
"I bid you adieu now my good men," she laughed,
"Till once more I am freed."

Then as the gates of terror split,
There came a blinding wind.
And through them every man was dragged,
To that eternal pit of sin.

And revere Her they cry to us,
Above any other saint.
For She alone can sanctify
What the evil ones did taint.

Coldly She watched them shut,
Just as she had of old.
And listened as they slowly sealed,
With the scream of ten thousand tortured souls.
