Sometimes it's hard to be an American
Giving all your support to the main man in charge
You'll hate the way he handles things
And he'll hate the way you want him to be
He'll mess up
Screw up and make some mistakes
Maybe even some really dumb ones
But if you're true red, white and blue

Yes, give him your support while our country is brought to its knees, our foreign policy implodes, the Constitution ends up in tatters.
Stand by your President no matter what he represents. It's the American way.
Anonymousover 16 years agoSo, just because he is your president, you will forgive whatever he does. He undermines the validity of international law and brings the whole world that much closer to wildwest-style barbarism, but that's OK because you'll forgive him. He effectively extinguishes Habeas Corpus in the USA, but that's OK, he's your president and you'll forgive him. He promotes torture and indefinite jail terms without ever being tried in open court, but that's OK he's the president and only "terrorists" will go to hell. Have you any idea of how many of the people in the rest of the world feel terrorized by your president.
