What does a star mean:
any old star, a particular star?
A couple on a dangerous journey,
surprised in a rough lodging?
Rough men sleeping in the open
surprised by music of hope?
Light and Darkness;
Life and Death.
Does a star mean more?
Crowds on a riverside,
crowds on a mountain,
crowds on a city street,
crowds at an execution,
a woman surprised in a garden?
Light and Darkness;
Life and Death.
Is a star about a way to live?
Is a star about a way to die?
Or is it just a point of light?
Is a star a reminder
that our future is not
a sentence of solitude in the Darkness
forever?
