Click hereCold, clear sky, half-darkness with the stars,
lights distant over roofs and treetops, fixed
in frozen constellations: time defined
in tiny pinpricks, time that is not told
in hours. Space is not a challenge. Space
is time evaporated, all life lost
between dull rock and gaseous outbursts, strewn
like stray illuminations in a mind
gone blank with age, a bitter void too deep
for comprehension - frightening, unkind.
have you just seen Gravity ? your generally anti- Outer Space pessimism in this poem suggests an angst : excellently portrayed by the best Poet on this site , as usual !!
