it is a simple test
to put the structure under load
watch for failure points

but there are no immoral girders
simply steel that is pressed
to shear or snap

when the math or units
are not quite right
& since my metal is none so pure

my tensile strength is less
so i am ductile—i spread, i stray
oft other women draw me away
