I am heading towards the light
it is getting closer
with the sounds of hell behind me
louder than a dozer

Heaven in front of me
Hell in the back
I'll keep walking straight
never looking back

Dead as I be
it is strange
to end up here
as if it was arranged

I am getting tired
but I know I must not stop
if I do I'll be pulled back
this walk is longer than I thought

As I draw nearer to the light
I start to think something is wrong
there is no sound ahead
all motion in the light has stopped

The sounds of hell are loud
but from the light I hear not
I keep walking forward
but I am starting to lose heart

I know somethings wrong
no one else is walking this path
between heaven and hell
this dark tunnel or wrath

Hell was Dark read
Heaven is just white
Hell still had shadows
Heaven just has light

I reach the end of the tunnel
the end of this dreadful path
I take that last step
and step into the light.
