It seems to me that it is true,
our passion is a crime.
The moments which I share with you
are stolen out of time.

The time it takes to hold you dear
and tell you "I love you"
is never quite enough I fear
to pay the devil's due.

So cradle me in your sweet arms
and hold me to your breast.
Deliver us from all that harms,
protect us from the rest.

Look to me for strength my love,
I'll share with you the burden.
Pray for succor from up above
and bear with me the sin.....

of these precious moments spent with you,
which are stolen out of time.
