Laying in bed,
My eyes closed.
Not wanting to think of anything,
Not wanting to do anything.
I can hear the rain,
Hear it as it hits my windowpane.
I feel your arms wrap around me,
Feel you lay down beside me.
I never want this to end,
Never want to leave your arms.
I hear the thunder,
Feel it rattle the house.
My eyes open,
Laying in bed alone.
