Stormy Weather

Velvet grey skies of misted blue
Circling swirls of storms abound
Raindrops bursting to the ground
Storm’s calm eye affords best view

Mother’s nature’s not always calm
Her spirit often times enraged
There remains a force uncaged
Not giving need or cause for qualm

Blustery bite or softest breeze
Embraced with total reverence
Prevents mistaken severance
Rewarding cotton clouds of ease

Some skies color in lurid details
A gentle beauty there is seen
Yet other moments hard to glean
The true view of darkened veils

Myriad of vivid colorful strife
Serenely calm or silent not
Shivers cold or steamy hot
Each a natural part of this life
