Candle lights
suffusing the glow over
her face
sheens of water, reflecting
pools of desire,
fire almost
               Burning and alit.

Soft cadences, that
click of the door as
He returns
expectant look
as a head is
cocked
               ears
straining

Whispers in the mind
who knows the way,
He finds the trail
small spots almost
dried
               across the pristine
floor,
His desires
then the click as the
last entrance is breached
slipping under the water,
breath held, silences drawn
Hearts dropping
               A rain of rose petals
all over the room
as her little tricks
show the way

who is the
One who leads, and
where will He go

Candles finally guttering
still the flesh roils
               twain never leaving

Enjoyed...

...this immensely. Soft romance, excellently presented in hushed whispers.
