Leaning against the cold stone wall,
The foot placed firmly upon the ground.
The eyes glance up quickly to see
The approaching of another.

A frown creases the young one's brow,
The sun blocking the stranger's face.
Coming quickly and purposely
It can't be, it must be another.

Moving closer into the sun
The shadowed figure comes into view
Moving quietly and gracefully
Not slowing as it came near.

Seeing it was really him,
And knowing his smile anywhere
She beconed him closer
With a quiet little sneer.

His footfalls making little sound, if they did at all
He was there in just a moment
A kiss upon her crimson lips
A stranger in the dark.
