Sue Elaine was going to school,
Mummy said it was a good school
for special people and as the teacher led her away,
Sue Elaine smiled her secret smile
the one that bothered Daddy so much.
In the Art room some of the children
understood the secret smile,
Sue Elaine was glad and got to smile it a lot.
The art teacher sometimes saw it and was sure
the children were happy, so when she disappeared
the amazingly lifelike portrait she left behind
had a contented look.

Sweet and sad poem *tear*

The poem is moving and sad. The last line is poignant and made me shed a tear. Very nice job, you pulled at my emotional heartstrings. *tear*
