She climbed so high, each reach became a new wooden lover
Sap is her sticky companion, it is adornment
The bulk of growth becomes fingered
Muscled knuckles that ease her down

Deep in the dank shade of root, she submits to the way
Of its heaviness, the sweetness of time and that one things
Weight, its disregard for preference,
Oozed on pancake stacks
Adoring mathmagical waffle geometry
It delights her perfect fruit
Appended upon its slender stick
