Non-Erotic PoetrySummerLong lazy days
of summer gone
down time’s
relentless path.
And here we’re left
to watch them go
while all the seasons pass.
But eager smiles
and joyful laughs
do not depart
with giddy days.
They linger still
to warm cold nights
and in memory remain.
