Summer Rain

She stood nearly nude
In greenery unloved
And felt the wind spray against her curve
And felt the sun warm her cheek
And there upon the banks of this jungle river
Was an orange and black beast opening it's jaw
In yawn
A tiger
Across the river
Which bothered her
Not for its voracious appearance perse
But because of her plan today
Above her to the right
Flowed a fount
A fall indeed
As the white rush descended
She was lured
Into this falling chasm
Wondering was it safe?
Who could save her?
Was she brave?
But she felt it
Call her in
Chilled by gushes and torrents
This summer rain!
