A beam of joy doth enter the world
On a swirl of golden breeze.
A powder trip on donut hole
Around the slip-slidey freeze.

We climb the slide the wrong way up
On hot and tempest eves.
Watermelon sliced and Kool-Aid buzzed
And wipe lips upon our sleeves.

A misty voice yells our hidden names
As we gargle life ferociously.
We holler back, voices erect
Hellacious Serendipity!

Smooth, cool silk against your skin
Spun from butterflies interrupted.
Curling smoke cuts the dewy grass
Our fire burns marshmallows corrupted.

A girl trips down the concrete lane,
A rainbow lollypop goes south.
Chew upon the chard remains
Till it bleeds and cuts your mouth.

Roll a tongue into shapes of tubes
Stained blue from a sugar god.
Laughing, snorting moronic dolts
Staring at the only ones odd.

We fade days on chromed wheels
Whizzing across blazing asphalt.
Tassels whip and pedals blur
Summer rapture shant ever halt!
