Looking up through branches to the blue above
While you link your fingers to mine.
The sound of a bumble bee loud,
In the stillness.

Scarcely breathing, I reach out,
With a long grass stem.
Tickling your chin, and playing possum
When you look.

I try to look so innocent, with my eyes closed
I would never do such a thing.
But the smile at the corner of my mouth
Just won't be hidden.

I open my eyes to see your eyes
Blue still above me, but a LOT closer.
And the smile at the corner of my mouth
Is stolen away by your kiss.
