I wait for nightfall to greet me
as the sun vanishes.

Amber heaven fades
kindly before my eyes.

Cold winds drift through
my open window.

Silence rises as darkness
is about to set in.

Clouds drown in peaceful skies
leaving a soft glow behind.

Evening shadows.

A beautiful poem describing a sunset and how the nocturnal evening hours unfold. Mystical in its brilliance. Lovely photograph goes well with this poem.
