This deep, burning pain in my neck and arms
is telling me that my head is spinning so fast
that it's threatening to twist my head off;
and I'm starting to feel like a 13 year old Linda Blair
spitting fireballs instead of green pea soup.
This great pressure in my head is telling me
that that the speed and collision of my thoughts are so great
that it's threatening to pop out my eyes;
and I'm feeling like a ballon animal
being tied up in knots.
This deep, sharp pain in my chest
is telling me that a smoke-filled balloon loses elasticity,
and under tremendous pressure, is sure to rupture;
and I'm starting to feel like an emphysemic and aging Lolita
with an arrhythmia so chaotic that one has to wonder if
a small universe could be created once the ticker goes supernova
like some burned out star.
