Soft and tender are you lover
so beautiful are your blue eyes,
as I sit and gaze upon you,
I listen to your breathless sighs.

In moments of surrendered bodings,
making love into the night,
passions flame ascends upon us,
shadows dance by candlelight.

So many days we've spent together,
and wrestled for this heart of mine,
not ever sure about tomorrow,
but hoping love to re-define.

Could it be we have forever,
or might this day now be our last,
so much future still in store,
if I could leave behind the past.

So fearful now of the surrender,
so fearful now to share my heart,
yet in the midst of your embraces
my trust has found a place to start.

If I could promise you forever,
I'd surely let my heart be true,
but what I know is in this moment,
all that I am I give to you.
