you swam onto my shores
seeped into my skin
convinced my heart to fall silent,
breathe in your enchanted wind
you called it medicine

but i can’t breathe
and i am free
to be, to feel, to see
The Truth
of
You…Swampthing,
so silky you
shine
you slither
slime
into my Life
until your ick
sticks
on
everything
in sight

i wash myself of you
and your glue
you will not shroud
my eyes
with your eloquent
melodious
lies
i see through your
disguise…

Now move along
as you watch
me fly by

to my heights…

~Goodbye~

You can cast
your sexy shadow
elsewhere

where there
lies
another in wait
aching
craving
for
your sweet
distraction…

until they too-
cleanse themselves of you…
and seek, dream
only
their Truth.
indeed,
i hope
someday
you will too

(i do love you)

A humorous piece ~ a swampthing in Arizona? Or, are men really all that icky?
