when the echo rings
and resonance sings
of a quiet whisper
tearing wavelengths
into messy confetti

like fingers in a blender
and one careless
just can't resist
flip of that fatal switch

when you part your lips
and shoot your clusterbomb
of tender whisper

when it shreds
so gently
my frontal lobes
and bursts my aorta
by merely passing by

will you please
just please
stay a little longer
to clean up the ugly mess
that you know
I won't be able to
while I bleed

I request more

This is so good, Lin. It's strong and bold, not a shy little poem.

Sweet?

This poem blew me away when I first read it in the boards, and I'm thrilled you decided to post it. Powerful stuff. :)

A breaking heart?

Or a bursting one? Either way it's a strong, sharp and sincere plea wrapped in a wasp-nest of a poem.
