Midday sun throws it’s warmth.
Already I see you waiting,
Sat alone
Another empty shell now she has gone.
Don’t want to cry,now the moment has passed.
Yet still I watch you, waiting.
The fleeting glance of her hair blowing in the wind,
Faint traces of her sweet aroma fading by the minute.
Your sparkling eyes dulled by despair,
She is not coming back.
I wrap my unseen wings around you,
Cradle your head in my lap,
While I am still running my fingers like memories through your hair.
I feel you smile.
