The mingling of sweet perfume,
And bodies pressing scent,
Fingers are entwinded with hair,
And hair entwined with lace.
Naked bodies with naked hearts
Are stripped and set aside,
Because for this moment
And in this time,
Life does not exist.
Alone at last and free from pain,
Keep each other from the rain,
And smell the sweet perfume.
Consuming every grasping breath
And every pulsating touch,
Fire burns and water churns
An explosion of the mind.
So when they lay,
Compleated now and shielded from the world,
Arms embraced and eyes are closed,
They breathe in the sweet perfume.
