Sweet, sorrow is mine if you should depart
I need you near to hold you to my heart
Yes want you, need you, want us to share
Without you dear Goddess my thoughts all despair
Not to kiss your soft skin, nor whisper in your ear
Not to be by your side is my agony I fear
and my only wish but the taste of your bliss
Thus I sigh as my lips depart from your kiss
And the sadness begins to enfold my heart,
As I think of the days and the weeks we're apart
So the sun goes down, so the skies lose their sight
Still I look to the stars burning strong in the night
And remember the twinkling of your sweet eyes
By the pale moon's shine this thought does arise
The time never will come when my love will be done!
