take me to bed tonight
just the two of us together

you can open me up
and read me like a book

let your liquid eyes linger
over my more personal thoughts

let your moist lips barely move
as my intentions become clear

you can pore over my more
subtle phrases at your leisure…

and if you want to take your time
please read the good parts twice.

it feels nice to curl up with you
i can hear you breathing

hold me close to your heart
so i can whisper into your ear

trace this faceless spine and
slowly stroke each fondled page

and if i can make you happy
then my words will kiss your smile

and if there happens to be a tear
it can trickle down my tongue…

and as you hold my words near
they drip like honey from your lips.

exquisitly romantic, beautifully written.

straight forward easy style

I like this. Everyday language, nite time emotion.

Not flowerly yet elegant.
