Just a rough draft. Comments welcome.

It's 8 am again
Time to start the day
You leave without a wave
I grab a duster
Cables and wires, all tangled
Papers stacked on a desk
Your office always such a mess
Like my hair—I catch a glimpse in the screen
Dusty, neglected
The fluffy tendrils swipe away
I look up, my mouth agape
My heart sinks to my knees
All from the hitting of a key
