she gazed upon
his naked form
glistening in the
moonlight
muscles rippled
beneath his skin
a bronzed angel
that was him
a tentative hand
reached out to brush
away a lock of his hair
his lips brushed her fingers
of the new feelings
forming inside
she suddenly
became aware
her fingers glided
up his arm to his wing
she touched the gossamer
a curious thing...
a smile curves his lips
he holds her in his arms
his arm securely
circles her waist
he whispers "close
your eyes and make haste..."
her long hair flowing
the wind catches and caresses
she feels free
like she was meant to be
"Open them and see
and experience every dream"
"Teach me to fly"
she whispers softly
