Teardrops fall and they land,
On skin like white porcelain,
Fingers brush them away,
But two new tears appear.

One watery smile,
Conquers all,
So I’ve been told,
I don’t know how,
To make them go away.

Walking in the wind,
It dries my tears,
And yet no more appear,
But not because there’s none left.

The truth is I’m learning different ways,
To stop the tears from flowing everyday,
If I don’t think of you I’m all right.

Wind walking...

The creative ability of this talented poet is in a word ~ stunning! I loved the stanza below:

Walking in the wind,

It dries my tears,

And yet no more appear,

But not because there’s none left.

~~

Too soon after a failed love , the sore is open, raw, and hurting.
