Tearfully she wandered up and down the halls
Sinking in despair as her hands rests upon the walls
Wondering why the muses toss about cruel fate
Or why the humans of the village always seem to hate
Much easier for them to cast the ruthless blame
by the arrogance of men, to place on her sacred name
So contrived to broil deepening pointless pains
Rather then their own faults to bear those stains
Upon another those mortals lie and deceive
Blame immortal rather then mentally conceive
Cast the lot, the stone, the murderous repore
Taking the vote that can bring more blood to pour
Idly throwing away the value of their humanity
to expose themselves to a guttons vanity
Alas my weeping can not change the fact
those moments of happiness drift away to react
Dooming to the darkness enfold and embrace
For my delight has lost a friendly face

very heartfelt

Loved your sensitively handled yet terse treatment. :)

I can see the journey to this pain has been tumultuous.

You expose your anger.

It's a good piece. Thanks for sharing with us
