my heart starts to bleed
with every tear i drop,
from my blue-green eyes.
when i know you are sad
and feel so alone.
life comes crashing down
on your shoulders,
and you can't lift its weight.
so frustrated you feel,
like no one is around
to help you lift
this burden you hold.
keeping you from living
and seeing all those that care,
all that love you.
you feel defeated but know
you must go on.
you dont have a clue which
way you should turn.
so you look up to see
the tear from my eye drop
on your face
and suddenly you see
life so clear.
your eyes are wide open
and you turn onto
a path never worn.
see my hand reach out?
come on and take it.
i will pull you close
and hold you tight.
take all your pain away
all that makes you sad,
so you never cry
make you forget
all those bad memories
toss them away
and be by my side.
