Eyes closed,
poised for a new life.
Simplicity,
joy infused minutes.
Eternal life of love.

Self induced sophism,
fades with each new morn,
whispers of truth emerge,
serene wisdom reigns.

Melting ice cream cones,
licking tiny fingers,
giggles of hope.
Children’s minds,
soaking magical moments.

Long days in bed,
star canopies,
green leaves clapping in the wind,
loving you naturally.

Frozen fantasies glide,
Tellus kissed,
my feet sinking
into spring time realities.
Embracing a new destiny.

This poem...

was a smile stretcher. Mine began with the first few words and ended up ear to ear by its final stanza. What a beautiful view you have on life and the loves in it, Du! Thank you for sharing yours with Me today. <still smiling>

This was an excellent poem, each line sent me to new hieghts. Soaring on the words of the Du's poem. Your pride shined in this marvelous write.

Love the title, your way with words which flowed oh, so smooth. An absolute beautiful read. Best one so far today. Sweet!

Agree

with sophie on what she said, but also add my compliment to your last stanza. Nice work.
