Tellus Kissed

byDu Lac©

Eyes closed,
poised for a new life.
Simplicity,
joy infused minutes.
Eternal life of love.

Self induced sophism,
fades with each new morn,
whispers of truth emerge,
serene wisdom reigns.

Melting ice cream cones,
licking tiny fingers,
giggles of hope.
Children’s minds,
soaking magical moments.

Long days in bed,
star canopies,
green leaves clapping in the wind,
loving you naturally.

Frozen fantasies glide,
Tellus kissed,
my feet sinking
into spring time realities.
Embracing a new destiny.
