I know the fear that is held in my heart,
I feel the trepidations of taking chances,
I am that fear that has stopped me taking chances.
Like a tempest it floats with the wind,
Hear the drums as they start to beat,
Hear the music as it shows you the path to take,
I know the fear and the trepidations,
and no-more shall they rule over me.
Oh like a dove I shall stretch my wings,
and beat my strength into the wailing tempest,
and I will exclaim into that wind,
"I am not afraid to say I love you,"
even if I am rejected a hundred times.
Like a tempest it shall float past,
and then disipate like my fear,
I am the master of my fate.
No-one but me.
