Rest your head.

Rest your mind.

Rest your troubled soul.

I know you can't read this, but I also know you can feel it.

Our souls have been tethered for many lifetimes. I loved you many times, probably hated you even more times. But we seem to always find each other. Our paths keep crossing one another.

You are my vulnerability.

You are my hard limit.

You are what I can't resist.

My temptation.

My Apple of Eden.

We've talked many times. We've yelled at each other many times. We've locked doors to one another. Blocked each other out. Yet, here we are again. Smile and laughter. Tears from your confiding in me.

But, how long until we hate each other again?

Then we find each other again.

Smile again.

Cry again.

Again and again.

You are my tethered soul. Where I walk in life, your soul forever connected to mine. Whether we walk the path we have fantasized many a time or not, my shoulder will always be there for you to lay your head on. My ears open to your demons to come out. My door when you need shelter.

No matter where we go in life, in this one or the next, I believe we will always cross paths.

Rest your troubled soul, I can feel it too.

You are my tethered soul.
