I never thought I’d see the day
That we both think the same
We agree on so many things
And mom you are to blame

I’ve thanked you several times before
You have raised me very well
I was taught there’s right and wrong
And the meaning of heaven and hell

I have watched you all my life
Your examples always shine
The devotion you have for your beliefs
Is truly quite divine

You have shown the three of us
The path that we should take
And if sometimes I do not follow
I know that’s my mistake

Do not lose your heart dear mom
There is something that you know
You’ve taught me to give respect
And in me that does show

Thank you mom for all you gave
And for all the love you’ve shown
I hope you’re proud of how I act
Now that I am finally grown

ehh, so what

if it rhymes, it's about a mom, and well, I miss mine, glad you still have yours. A very sweet sentiment, well done :)
