what she waited for
to be held in strong arms
loved, eyes looked into
made love to slowly
has not yet happened

in a stuporous rush
it was pushed roughly aside
and she fled that place
into arms that seemed strong
but she was ill-equipped to judge
and what she waited for
was crushed again
the same Friday of every month

little one, that girl is there,
the one who waits, waiting still,
I hold her in my arms and words,
the one I love.

and I promise you:
I will hold you in my earthly arms,
make love to you,
that first time to come
