Hearing that song brings
back memories of our early love.
Makes me smile like the sight
of snow in Wisconsin in
the early morning.
Recollections of our youth
when we were once crazy
about each other and nothing else mattered.
As we grow together,
we seem to drift apart.
I'm not perfect.
I never said I was a saint.
I have secrets, as so does
every woman.
Understand me, help me
learn to love you the way I once did.
