That's all it takes, I say,
Holding your burning gaze in rapture-
One kiss to ignite the fire within;
Your arms so lovingly enfold,
Yet our bodies press together,
The taste of your lips on mine-
I am the object of your desire,
Your fingers caress, demanding every inch,
Until I gasp as they delve into that aching warmth,
Lift me into throes of ecstasy,
And send me crashing down;
Craving you all over,
I hear you whisper at my ear,
That's all it takes to make you mine,
As you sink into bliss on the edge of oblivion-
A shudder and a smile, that's all it takes.

Foreplay

This was "A Study in Writing an Erotic Poem." It's meant more of an art form than for pure enjoyment. Though, I won't say I didn't enjoy writing it. As for Swoon, yes, actually I think swoon works better in place of gasp. Lol. Duly note.
