The Abridged Version

byMagnetron©

Lazily sitting on the edge of a beam
Supporting this bridge straddling a stream
Watching the after images of image after image
Appearing in the liquid scene mirroring below
Keen to how I grow more unknowing
While this dream like reverie continues flowing over me
As I lean further outward at my own risk
So enchanting is this parading
Process of association

Silently wishing
A coin is cast
Creating a rippling disc in the Present
Once Future
Now Past

The point of no return

I find myself swiftly arriving at
The most inevitable of conclusions

Having no allusions
And without any more change to spare
Rather than earn another cent
Just to simply toss it away
Without a care
I let go of the railing
