“On the Corner”
Shooting through my mind with trumpeting
“Look -at -Me”!
Dripping golden
Sounds
And I’m devouring the music
With the TASTES
I LOVE delicious solitude
As my mouthroof slices the latest barbecue sauce
That I suck
Down
naked-tongued
Even
without meat
And my consciousness is floating
Amid
A 3- pronged tree
of
Ceasar’s Salad with croutons
Swished down
With skunky
Beer with fancy labels
And sativa oils
Rammed through a vape pen
And despite the radiant
Sunlight bouncing on the
Slatted blinds
I am still
in a dark but
Elated euphoric state
of solitude
Bliss
But I don’t mind more days
Staring
At ceaser’s salads
While gazing at the
pills
I ordered from India for a cheap
Elevation of mood
Forlorn
Capsules
in a
Box
Green and White
I haven’t taken one of them
I have an epiphany
about something
About levitation over all
The human noise
Forever molesting my ears
With a big smug smile on my face
But I lost it
And Miles Davis played
“on the corner”
That’s the kind
Of human noise I want
On the corner of Red Bull and Jaeger
I love this. It's a journey of a poem with a cool blue jazz soundtrack. I hope to read more from you!
Very smart; colorful; invites for more than a casual one-time reading.
