The Ballad of Oneness

When one looks for love,
when one looks for oneness with another,
when one tries so hard to find that special someone,
without any success, a question must be pondered,
Have I found love within myself?

The search for oneness begins within oneself
One must learn to love oneself,
for in loving oneself you learn to
know your limits, you begin to truly realise,
what you need and want, what you can give and take.

Only then, you can ponder oneness,
Take a deep look inside of yourself,
Look to what is your heart and mind,
And then look into the mirror and there,'
you will find yourself.
