My mind drifts across the dunes,
Spiralling on the breeze
Gull wings spread and tip, eddies supporting
I dance with the crabs, amongst the waves
The oceans calls to me
I swim with the porpoise, so wild and free

Children build castles, out of sand and dad
Families as far as the eye can see
A lonely fisherman in a boat
Floats in the bay, his line stretching into hinted depths
A pitching buoy mocks the day,
Staggering across the bay

Young lovers approach, as time draws in
Fading light on the horizon
Moonlight caresses the wet sand
And the stars giggle in the cool night sky
Silver moments such as this
Are what Life is meant to be
