The Beast Within

He has fire in his eyes,
Nothing can stop him,
He's prepared to die,
Nothing will stop him,

You've woken up a beast,
Try and cage him,
It's time to feast,
I dare you to cage him,

His human side slips away,
Losing grip on reality,
Am i dreaming or is it day?
Losing grip on reality,

This is his darker side,
Maybe you should run,
Maybe you should hide?
Definitely time to run,

He had the match but you had the fire,
It's your fault,
Now your life's about to expire,
You started it,

Was it really worth it?
No regrets,
Betraying a friend?
He will never forget,

Your whole world collapses,
Colour fades to black,
He took his chances,
There's no going back,

He brought it down,
The fortress of your pride,
Now he'll wear the crown,
He knew you lied,

He's cutting the wire,
A lifeline for you to hold on to,
He enjoys the fire,
What will you do?

He can't escape this hell,
Dark walls surround him,
A long time ago he fell,
No one could help him,

His wounds have healed,
But scars remain,
Earned on the battlefield,
Which drove him insane,

This is the beast within,
See the fire in his eyes,
Let the fight begin,
Until one of you dies.
