Powerful is he
who worships the blade
The grace of attack
is part of his charade

A man to be feared
or so it would seem
Yet peace and tranquility
are part of his dream

The perry and thrust
a subtle caress
All part of a game
to prove he's the best

A paradox of values
two sides of a coin
Violence and peace
in one will they join

But day upon day
he practiced the form
Through confidence and movement
his courage is born.
