Click hereThere’s a storm on the horizon
Causing waves to crash the shore
The wind continues blowing stronger
Than he’s ever seen before
The ship is tossed and battered
Yet it sails on through the night
Somewhere near the wave torn shore
There is a glimmer from a light
The Captain firmly grips the wheel
Doing battle with the storm
Steering towards the light he knows
Will lead him to where it’s warm
That light grows steadily brighter
From the lighthouse on the shore
To guide the Captain safely
Until he walks in through the door
The lighthouse becoming more distinct
To the Captain’s searching eyes
And the storm rages ever harder
Unwilling to release her prize
To the storm the prize is sinking
That ship into the deep
To the Captain the prize is finding
A peacefully place to sleep
The storm attempts to sink the ship
By strengthening the tide
But the Captain is determined
To reach the lighthouses’ side
The storm and waves begin to calm
As the Captain nears the shore
At last he steps into the warmth
And gently shuts the door
The storm has lost the battle
And the Captain’s safe at home
He leaves the ship for the storm to take
For the sea no more he’ll roam
