Inspired by and dedicated to Angeline

Synchronicity

What I thought was land, was really the water

A thing referenced in two or more separate places in a short period of time.

Raindrops
exploding as they strike
breaking the neon
in the puddle mirror
ripples ever expanding
Repeating at random

Seeing a connection between events seemingly unrelated.

Saga of the city
new every day
mighty

What was right
was left

Finding something you didn’t know you were looking for.

Splattering
mind havoc

All my landmarks were actually buoys
bobbing in your wake

Chaos reigns

It doesn't take a rocket scientist
to do this kinda brain surgery

Edges
of splash circles
catching the light
fading
dissolving

Whoever is writing
my interior monologue
is left perplexed
at this turn of events

The rain continues to fall
sounding
like burning

endlessly crashing surf

Serendipity
