I was taking a drive through the countryside,
I was harmonizing with the birds, we were conjuring up my mistress.
I was taking a ride through the lighter side,
I was waltzing with my sweet as sugar honey in the ballroom under the chandelier,
Laughing and whispering, tickling chants into my lover's open ear.
I was hiding from the hellish hate that hurt my heart,
Sleeping on a featherbed, with my concubine at my side,
Dreaming of waking up.
I was loving at all, but it halted.
I twitched and found myself under a dark, gray sky,
and I realized:
She doesn't exist.
